Translations of this page?:

Multilanguage Support

DokuWiki's userinterface can be configured to use any language by setting the appropriate option in the config. Have a look in the lang directory to see which languages are available.

To translate DokuWiki to your own language, simply use the DokuWiki Translation Builder which makes it easy to create new translation packs from your browser. See all the languages in the main page about translation.

If you did a translation just send it to me (andi [at] splitbrain [dot] org) and it will be included in the next release. Translators should join the I18N Mailing List to be informed when new strings are added and need to be translated.

DokuWiki could automatically adjust the user interface to browsers preferred language and display localized contents, using these Multilingual Content Scripts, provided by some DokuWiki users.

Translation Files

DokuWiki includes translation files contributed by the DokuWiki community. Each language has its own page here where missing strings can be added and translations can be discussed. The credits for each translation is on these pages, too.

Content Translation

Translations of the syntax page (internal or external):

Please add your translated pages here. And when adding internal pages, be sure to add them only to each respective namespace (wiki:<lang>:syntax, eg. wiki:fr:syntax for the French translation and so on).
