- Be patient, users might not answer right away because they may be busy
- When talking about code use a pastebin instead of posting huge chunks of code
- If your problem got solved on IRC, please update the documentation accordingly. If you posted about it on the mailinglist or forum before, follow it up with a description of the solution

uBOTu-fr
[NikO] is running a bot named uBOTu-fr, which will post darcs check-in notifications, infos about changed pages here and new bugs to the channel.
You can also send some commands to the bot:
- !help gives you a list of commands.
- !doku 'query' searches this wiki (using google).
- !ml 'query' searches the mailing list.
zimbot
chimeric is running a bot named zimbot which supports a couple of commands which should help to interchange information (or otherwise having some fun 
). Some of the commands are especially/only useful to make it easier for people to help others. The bot itself is a supybot.

| !give <nickname> <command> <arguments> | this is a meta command which can be used with any of the above commands, it will show the given nick along with the result of the given command (note that you don't have to preceed the command with an ”!” in this case. example usage: !give splitbrain plugintag youtube |
| !insult <nickname> | prints an insulting message to the given nickname, please don't abuse this or it will be removed instantly! |
