I plugins forniscono un sistema per estendere le caratteristiche di Dokuwiki senza dover modificare il codice originale (e per ogni successivo aggiornamento). Sotto si trova una lista di plugins creata dagli utenti di Dokuwiki pronti per l'uso.
Un Plugin si installa mettendolo nella propria cartella sotto lib/plugins/. Per molti plugins questo può essere fatto automaticamente usando il plugin manager. È consigliato leggere gli avvertimenti su plugins.
