====== Multilanguage Support ======

[[DokuWiki]]'s userinterface can be configured to use any language by setting the appropriate option in the [[wiki:config#lang|config]]. Have a look in the ''lang'' directory to see which languages are available.

To translate DokuWiki to your own language, simply use the [[http://translate.dokuwiki.org/translate.php|DokuWiki Translation Builder]] which makes it easy to create new translation packs from your browser. See all the languages in the [[http://translate.dokuwiki.org|main page about translation]].

If you did a translation just send it to me (<andi@splitbrain.org>) and it will be included in the next release. Translators should join the [[mailinglist#I18N Mailing List]] to be informed when new strings are added and need to be translated.

DokuWiki could automatically adjust the user interface to browsers preferred language and display localized contents, using these [[wiki:multilingual content|Multilingual Content Scripts]], provided by some DokuWiki users.
